FAQs for Business

What is Human Resources?

Human Resources (HR) is a business function which focuses on managing and supporting an organisation's workforce. HR aims to maximise employee productivity and protect the company and their employees from any issues that might arise from the workforce.

What does a HR Consultant do?

A HR consultant advises on all aspects of human resources management. Our goals are to optimise HR functions and align them with their strategic objectives, educate our clients to empower them to make HR considered decisions and provide overall support as required.

When should we hire a Human Resources Consultant?

An organisation should consider hiring a HR consultant when they need specialised expertise:

  • for setting up or improving your HR practices;

  • during periods of significant change or growth in your organisation;or

  • when facing specific HR challenges like compliance issues, high turnover, or challenges with employees.

We are also an asset particularly for small businesses that may not require a full-time HR professional, but still need guidance on best practice.

How is your recruitment different from a recruitment agent/agency?

The key difference between the SHE HR service and that of a traditional recruitment agency, is that we provide an end-to-end service. This means our model is inclusive of:

  • Initial Consultation & Job Design

  • Job Ad Placement & Administration

  • Candidate Screening

  • Interview Support

  • Reference Checks

Additionally, our recruitment services are offered at a flat rate project fee. We do not take a percentage of the new recruit’s salary, and only charge for the recruitment service agreed upon prior to commencement. Additional charges may be incurred if the scope of the project is changed by the client.

Do you conduct reference checks?

Absolutely we do! We will always conduct this as the crucial final step of our recruitment process.
